Lily

Lily Ortiz (she/her) has joined ImmunoX as the new Community Manager. She will support the Membership & Community Committee by organizing meetings, overseeing the community fund, managing membership pipelines, and leading outreach initiatives. Reporting to the ImmunoX Chief Strategy Officer, she will also handle content creation, event planning, and act as a bridge between faculty and trainee leadership groups.

Lily is a graduate of the UCSF Global Health Sciences Master's program, where her capstone project analyzed data from snakebite patients in Tamil Nadu, India, to assess the accuracy of coagulation parameters in diagnosing venomous bites. During her graduate studies, Lily served as the Administrative Assistant for the Center for Health Equity in Surgery and Anesthesia (CHESA), supporting the OpenCriticalCare and OpenOximetry projects, along with various communication and administrative responsibilities.
