Michelle Yu is a Data Manager in the Office of Collaborative Research (OCR) with the Bakar ImmunoX Initiative, providing research data management and sharing support to investigators. She has been at UCSF since 2004, working as a Statistician and Data Systems Analyst in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, on projects focused on HIV and Hepatitis C-related epidemiology, treatment, and intervention. In 2014, she began working at the Airway Clinical Research Center (ACRC) to manage their biobanking database and provide investigators with data support. In addition to her role as data manager in the OCR, she is also a research data analyst for the Woodruff Laboratory and the Koth Lab, where she assists the principal investigators in studying biomarkers of asthma and sarcoidosis, preparing clinical research data and analyses, and continues to manage the biobank database for the ACRC.
